Extreme Fight Productions and Extreme Fighter Magazine would like to thank the fighters, fans, sponsors, Sean Sherk and Municipal Auditorium for an excellent event on January 23rd, 2009. Extreme Fight Productions founder Brian Miller and the entire X Fights team were extremely pleased with the entire evening.

It was a great night, and there will be plenty more to come. We are very thankful to all the fans, sponsors, fighters, and Sean Sherk who all contributed in making this great night possible. We'll continue to seek out opportunities and constantly look for ways to provide an incredible atmosphere for the fans and fighters.

On a cold night in downtown Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Auditorium was rocking to say the least. Numerous fights had fans standing on their feet, and the lighting and sound system gave the event a "true UFC feel". Eric Marriott and Tom Aaron put on a magnificent show, while Dean Johnston, Nick Nolte, and Bobby Voelker proved to be too much for their opponents. Shepherd Owens dominated Base Basvic, but Basvic showed his mental toughenss by shaking off numerous blows and going the full distance only to lose by decision.

Overall, it was a great night of fights, and Extreme Fight Productions promises to make every event an awesome MMA experience! Stay tuned for upcoming fight locations and dates!
