Extreme Fight Productions Lands Benjamin Nogueras Jr. |

Benjamin Nogueras Jr. who is cofounder of "The Blue Corner" has teamed up with Extreme Fight Productions. Nogueras, a fighter himself, will bring a wealth of knowledge to the team. "Ben is undoubtedly a huge addition for our team. He has numerous connections in the Kansas City area, and gives us another guy who knows the sport of Mixed Martial Arts to the fullest degree", said Extreme Fight Productions Founder Brian Miller.
Nogueras has quickly made a name for himself as an excellent promoter in the Kansas City area. Nogueras clearly has the same vision as the Extreme Fight Productions team, and the partnership will undoubtedly give Extreme Fight Productions another edge in its preparation for the inaugural event on January 23rd, 2009 at Municipal Auditorium.

Extreme 1 Fight Card Solidified |

Last Thursday, December 11th, Extreme Fight Productions solidified the fight card with a celebratory event at Aspire Mixed Martial Art's in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Andrew Walker, chief editor of Extreme Fighter Magazine held nineteen interviews with various fighters, and shot an abundance of photos in anticipation of EXTREME 1. Kansas City's number one rock radio station, 98.9 'The Rock' covered the event, while Metro Sports held interviews with Bobby Voelker, Dean Johnston, and other fighters attending the event. Extreme Fight Productions Brian Miller said, "Overall, it was a huge success. Everybody contributed, and it was great to have Jesse (Finney), Ben (Nogueras), and Andrew Walker involved. Aspire Mixed Martial Art's was very generous in hosting the event, and we are pumped up for January 23rd."

Chris Leben Tests Positive for Steroids |

According to David Meltzer, Chris Leben has tested positive for steroids. Leben was defeated by Michael Bisping, and now has been defeated by a mandatory drug test. Leben tested positive for a drug identified as Stanzaolol. Although no formal group oversees drug testing within the UFC, the tests were administered by the UFC. |
